Disney Tales of Magic at Disneyland Paris
Since January 10, 2025, visitors to Disneyland Paris have been able to watch Disney Tales of Magic, the park’s new nighttime show. It replaced Disney Illuminations and runs every evening at the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The show lasts around 20 minutes and combines high‑power laser technology, fireworks, drones, fountains, and projections. For the first time, visuals are displayed not only on the castle but also along the facades of Main Street, U.S.A.
The lasers used are the same system that lit the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. More than 200 LED devices are used each night. A fleet of drones creates large‑scale 3D figures above the castle.
The soundtrack is an original orchestral score titled Live in Magic, recorded with a 100‑piece orchestra and performed in both French and English.
The program includes scenes from The Lion King, Coco, Encanto, Inside Out, Toy Story, Lilo & Stitch, Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast, and WALL‑E.
The Lion King segment is often noted as the most powerful part of the show, combining drone choreography with fireworks and music.
Performances usually start around 9 p.m., depending on the season. The best free viewing spots are along Main Street and the hub in front of the castle. Guests can also pay around €24 for a reserved area with less crowding.
