Discover the Best Cream Puffs in Paris: Why Odette is a Sweet Must-Visit!

Odette Paris is one of the most popular pastry shops in Paris famous for its delicious cream puffs, aka choux à la crème. Since it opened, it has gained a loyal following thanks to its high-quality pastries and unique flavors.

The patisserie’s success comes from its focus on fresh, carefully made cream puffs and its charming, vintage-style setting. Whether locals or tourists, visitors enjoy the mix of great taste and a special atmosphere that takes them back to the Roaring Twenties.

Odette’s cream puffs come in many flavors including vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, coffee, caramel with salted butter, lemon, berries, and praline. They are sold in boxes of 6, 9, 12, or 18, and for larger occasions, you can order up to 750 cream puffs.

The puffs are made fresh every day in Odette’s laboratory in the heart of Paris. They can be kept for up to 48 hours in the fridge.

The original Odette shop is located in a small 17th-century building at 77 rue Galande in the 5th arrondissement, right across from the Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre church and near the oldest tree in Paris. On the ground floor is a cream puff counter for quick orders.

Upstairs is a retro-style tea room with a view of Notre-Dame de Paris. The cool decor features a marble checkerboard floor and Art Deco elements, with vintage music playing. It’s a pleasant place to enjoy cream puffs with hot chocolate, tea, coffee, or even champagne.

Odette Paris expanded with a second location at 18 rue Montorgueil (1st arrondissement) where you can also grab cream puffs from a counter on a charming pedestrian street.
