Where to Find Old Nice’s Best Markets: A Stroll Through the City’s Busiest Squares and Alleys

3. Place Saint-François: The Fish Market

Place Saint-François is a quieter square that locals go to for its daily fish market. Early in the morning, fish vendors set up with fresh catches. The square is surrounded by historic buildings, including an old town hall. There’s also a small fountain in the center and a few traditional shops around.

It’s a bit off the main tourist trail, a nice feel into local life in Old Nice without the tourist crowds.
